Chris Windsor (born 7 December 1990 in Bolton) is an English footballer who played as a midfielder for Melbourne Victory.
After moving to Australia at the beginning of 2010, Christian Windsor was signed to play for Melbourne for 5 months during the Australian winter. Windsor spent the period there during the Australian state league and throughout Melbourne Victory's AFC Champions League qualifiers. He returned to his hometown, Bolton, UK in August.
After leaving the Australian soccer league,Christian Windsor now works as a football coach in Bolton and is currently taking his UEFA coaching badges.
Windsor made a total of 9 appearances for Melbourne and only scored once. This came on his final match for the club when he scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute to make the score 2-1 to Melbourne Victory. Windsor was booked for his controversial celebration which angered the opposition fans, as he ran the length of the pitch waving an England flag at the Australian supporters. This would be his last game in Australia; Windsor was released and his contract was terminated following the incident.
